With a robust background spanning two decades as a Navy SEAL across SEAL Team FIVE, SEAL Team EIGHT, and Special Boat Team TWENTY, my guest ventured through multiple combat theaters in the Pacific, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Graduating from the revered BUD/S training in August '97 (Class 212), my guest charted a path from an enlisted Mineman to a commissioned Navy SEAL Officer. His journey is peppered with milestones – from sniper training to guiding teams in combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. Post-retirement, he navigated to the University of Southern California, steering veteran programs as the Director of Development and standing tall within the President's team as the Manager of Military and Veteran Services. My guest’s academic journey includes an outstanding thesis at Naval Postgraduate School and a Masters of Public Policy, culminating in his current role as a Corporate Security Analyst at Dominion Energy, based right here in Virginia Beach. Mark Greene

I am a retired Navy SEAL that served for 20 years at SEAL Team FIVE, SEAL Team EIGHT, Special Boat Team TWENTY, Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) and Naval Special Warfare Group FOUR. I deployed to multiple combat theaters in the Pacific Command, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I began my Naval Special Warfare career as a Mineman (MN), and graduated from Basic Underwater Demoliotion/SEAL (BUD/S) training in August 1997 Class 212. I served two tours as an enlisted SEAL and transitioned to a commissioned Navy SEAL Officer in 2004. Career highlights were attending and graduating the Naval Special Warfare sniper course, instructor Naval Special Warfare Sniper Course, SEAL Officer Commission (2004), Naval Postgraduate School MBA (Defense Focused Financial Management and graduated with honors of Outstanding Thesis Award. Assistant Officer in Charge at SEAL Team EIGHT combat deployment to Iraq, Officer in Charge at Special Boat Team TWENTY, Officer in Charge at SEAL Team EIGHT with combat deployement to Afghanistan.
Upon retirement I began a career at the University of Southern California as the Director of Development for Veterans Programs, and a member of the President's staff as Manager of Military and Veteran Services. Earned a Masters of Public Policy (MPA), until my departure and return to Virginia Beach where I work at Dominion Energy as a Corporate Security Analyst.
