Nicholas was born in Hilo, Hawaii. At age 10, he moved to Los Angeles, California, joining the army at 18. During his 10-year career in the Army, Nicholas served in the 82nd Airborne and as an Army Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment. As a Ranger, he deployed six times, earning a Purple Heart and Bronze Star with Valor. Nicholas is currently a junior at Harvard College studying neuroscience to advocate for non-standard forms of therapy. While in college, he is attempting to be the first actively enrolled student in the history of Harvard to summit the tallest mountain on every continent to bring attention to student mental health and encourage veterans to pursue education after their military service.
